IGES, LLC originally Innovative Green Energy Solutions is a woman veteran owned company.
My first exposure to Prestyl Infrared Heat Panels was by accident, I was at a RE investment meeting, there was a distributor for Prestyl showing the investors of new technology available for their remodels. I saw the potential to comfortably heat my elderly mother, unfortunately, she left us before I could accuire one for her.
ALSO, my home area in the Midwest had recently experienced ice storms 2 years in a row which had knocked out power to hundreds for up to 3 weeks. These homeowners had to rely on generators for power to provide heat. And many had purchased plug in space heaters resulting in the potential to overload their circuits, some experienced electrical fires.
Since I saw that the Prestyl heater panels were safe, and had a low energy load, this was the solution for this particular situation. After further familiarizating myself with the product, the more potential I saw for its uses and applications.
Here at IGES, our mission is to design an efficient, clean and healthy system for you, your family, or your employees which will provide comfortable heating for several years to come.
In 2011 when I was introduced to Prestyl's Infrared Heating Panels, I saw the potential for a new market with unlimited applications, including going off grid. After some negotiation, I became a distributor and began the process of educating the public about Infrared and its benefits in health and efficiency. But at that time, Infrared was a new concept and many were unaware of what it meant or how it worked. Since then, there have been several low to medium grade products released claiming to be infrared. This has helped to familiarize the population to the term and some have researched or tried some of these products with somewhat favorable results.
I began to market to home owners through trade shows, and other events, identified a market for post war construction of court houses now needing heating upgrades, and office buildings. Identified a market for nursing facilities and government housing.
Also, I identified the AG applications for the infrared panels for safety and efficiency. The potential applications that I have identified are virtually unlimited.
